As an Assistant Video Editor, you will work closely with our Video Editor to assist in the post-production process of our video projects. You will be responsible for organizing and managing video footage, creating rough cuts, and assisting in the final editing process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for video production, strong technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Video Editor in organizing and managing video footage - Create rough cuts based on the Video Editor's vision and direction - Collaborate with the Video Editor to ensure the final product meets the company's standards - Edit and assemble raw footage into a cohesive and engaging video - Add music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the video's overall quality - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video production processes - Manage and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment - Ensure all video projects are completed within the given timeline and budget - Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality videos Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field - 1-2 years of experience in video editing or production - Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer - Strong understanding of video production techniques, including color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling - Knowledge of current video trends and techniques - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Contract Details: This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
