Assistant VM Manager – UK&I Marketing

DESCRIPTION

Reporting into Senior SDVM Manager UK, your team will collectively manage all Store Design and VM across the UK&I market, with Assistant VM Manager leading all local VM & Retail Excellence. You will carry out local (UK&I) VM campaign briefs across the UK retail & spa estate, working closely with UK Channel Marketing, UK Commercial & Global VM teams to ensure best in class execution of brand campaigns, local eventing (both inside and outside of our retail partners) alongside providing support for detailed planogram updates. You will also lead our retail excellence & aftermarket support with field team & BAs, ensuring best-in-class VM execution.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

• 3+ years’ experience, preferably in luxury / premium beauty.
• Proficient in InDesign & Illustrator
• Intermediate in ‘Photoshop’ to quickly translate visual ideas into mock up.
• Nice to have ‘SketchUp’ wireframe 3D skills.
• Able to use Mac basic knowledge of Microsoft package.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required: graphic design, VM, product design
• Be consumer centric, demonstrate a good understanding of the customer journey in beauty and have an excellent attention to details.
• Understanding of approval processes within brand teams and third parties (retailers, brand stakeholders).
• Awareness of competition / trends to maintain relevancy in our VM deliverables.
• Must be a team player as all work will be team based, across multiple functions.
• Positive, collaborative attitude, this is a key role engaging with multiple stakeholders across the business
• Keen eye for detail, this candidate will be key in ensuring our brand equity is adhered to across all key retail partners.

Manage all VM updates, store maintenance and aftermarket for our UK&I estate.

Visual Merchandising:

• Best in Class Campaign VM Execution- on time, on brand and within budget
• Manage UK retailer VM approval processes, keeping internal stakeholders abreast of key updates.
• Updating existing estate to new brand look & Feel
• Work closely with global SDVM team to ensure global guidelines/ toolkits are reflected in UK market.
• Ensure “always on” VM updates for evergreen & campaign assets, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and execution
• Reviewing customer journey- ensure consistent customer journey across all our retailers & channels.
• In collaboration with Marketing & Commercial teams, lead the adaptation & production of windows, secondary sited animations
• Analyze competitors and ensuring Elemis is best in class.

Operational:

• Create and maintain the UK VM database Including lightbox roll out – so there is a clear overview of the space & location secured across our retail estate.
• Manage prototype development and CPA for UK team with local suppliers
• Establish trust relationship to negotiate best cost quality with suppliers to deliver sustainable & on brand VM for our Retail partners in all permanent and temporary environments.
• Manage the reporting of all UK VM budget trackers, alongside ensuring all relevant PO’s have been raised in a timely manner.

Retail Excellence:

• Responsible for managing new aftermarket & maintenance, ensuring Retail Excellence across our ~150 stores & ~600 spa accounts
