QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Well experienced coaching youth aged 10-17
  • Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals and techniques
  • Strong communication skills.
  • CPR/First Aid an asset (not required)

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, strategies, and rules.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate players and engage with parents.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of varying skill levels.
  • Experience in coaching or playing volleyball at a competitive level is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, practices, and events effectively.

DUTIES

  • Plan and conduct effective training sessions that focus on skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
  • Educate players on the rules of volleyball, techniques, and game strategies to enhance their understanding of the sport.
  • Organize and oversee practices, ensuring they are engaging and productive.
  • Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Foster a supportive team culture that encourages sportsmanship, discipline, and respect among players.
  • Coordinate with parents and guardians regarding player progress and team activities.
  • Assist in organizing competitions, tournaments, and other events related to the volleyball program.
