About the Role


We’re looking for a proactive and organised Operations Coordinator to join our Silverwater team and play a key role in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly.


Reporting to the Head of Operations, you’ll coordinate the flow of orders from fulfilment through to delivery, working closely with our warehouse team, customers and freight providers. You’ll be responsible for keeping orders moving, resolving issues as they arise and making sure our customers receive a seamless and reliable delivery experience.


What you’ll be doing


Coordinate daily order fulfilment, picking, packing and dispatch activities.

Prepare and review picking tickets and dispatch documentation.

Prioritise orders and ensure special delivery requirements are clearly communicated.

Coordinate freight bookings, carriers, customer collections and pallet returns.

Route and track deliveries using Detrack and follow up on delays or delivery issues.

Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and advise when orders are ready for collection.

Manage the NSW Operations inbox and Teams channel, ensuring enquiries and updates are actioned promptly.

Maintain accurate order, dispatch and delivery information across NetSuite and Detrack.

Monitor outstanding orders and follow up on operational requirements.

Identify and escalate dispatch, freight and order discrepancies.

Provide day-to-day support to the warehouse team.

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, accuracy and customer service.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident working in a fast-paced operational environment.


You’ll ideally have:

Experience in operations, logistics, dispatch, warehouse coordination or a similar role.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Confidence communicating with customers, freight providers and internal teams.

Strong computer and systems skills.

Experience with ERP, transport or logistics systems is highly regarded.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and following issues through to resolution.

About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Leading Hand to support the day-to-day operation of our Welshpool warehouse and distribution function.


Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you'll provide frontline leadership to warehouse team members, ensuring inventory is managed accurately and customer orders are prepared and dispatched safely, efficiently and on time.

Most warehouse jobs are the same day on repeat. This one isn't. On top of the usual DC work, we'll train you up in Chain Mesh PPE repair, specialised work that very few people in Australia can do.

We're an Australian-owned family business with over 20 years supplying packaging and processing consumables to the food industry nationwide. Our Truganina Distribution Centre is growing, and we need another capable set of hands on the Operations team.

What you'll do

No two days look the same:

  • Pick, pack and dispatch outbound orders
  • Receipt inbound goods and manage inventory
  • Operate a forklift; load and unload heavy vehicles
  • Become a Chain Mesh PPE repair professional, with full training provided
  • Work directly with a tight, experienced team across the business


Requirements

What you'll need

  • Hands-on warehouse experience

  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including manual handling up to 25kg

About the role:

As the Assistant Warehouse Manager (PM Shift), you will have full accountability for operational delivery across the PM Shift (2pm -10pm) specifically relating to Incoming, picking and put away activities. You will drive operational delivery, cost efficiency, safety, and team performance leading local execution.

This is a warehouse leadership role and requiring strong operational expertise, you will hold accountability for the shift’s operational delivery, leading team members to achieve safe, productive and customer-focused outcomes in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop warehouse teams through induction, training, performance management, cross-training, Scheduling, and time-and-attendance management.
  • Plan and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, put-away, and management of drivers.
  • Drive operational performance by communicating targets, managing resources, managing overtime, supporting OTIF delivery, and resolving service failures.
  • Maintain safety and compliance standards through WHS support, toolbox talks, hazard and incident reporting, inspections and process adherence.
  • Protect inventory and assets by maintaining stock accuracy, quality control, asset registers, vehicle servicing and repairs, and reporting theft or damage.
  • Ensure effective use of systems and reporting and completion of daily routines.
  • Promote continuous improvement and workplace standards by identifying efficiency opportunities, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse, and ensuring professional presentation of staff, vehicles, and property.
  • Be responsible for maintaining appropriate site-security standards and protecting APG people, inventory, assets, and facilities throughout the shift and end of shift.
