Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our small, busy team in NW2/Staples Corner.
While the title includes “Manager,” this is very much a practical, physical role — expect to spend some of your time picking and packing orders and collecting and delivering stock, especially during peak periods. However, you’ll also take on some added responsibilities, such as guiding the warehouse assistant, supporting event operations, and getting involved in small improvement projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s ready to take the next step up from a warehouse or logistics role and start building leadership experience in a supportive environment.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • UK driving licence (manual), must have
  • Ideally commercial driving experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Comfortable taking initiative and working independently
  • Some experience supervising or mentoring others is helpful
  • IT literacy (emails, order systems, printing dispatch notes)
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Right to work in the UK and a UK bank account
A note on fit: If you’re a practical person who likes staying active, getting things done, and keeping operations running smoothly, you might enjoy this role — even if you haven’t had a formal manager title before. If you’re after a desk-based management job, though, this probably isn’t the one for you.
Don’t meet every single requirement? If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
