Description
Responsibilities: Help train and supervise full time and temporary workers to maximize efficiency, productivity and to maintain a safe and clean work environment
Ensure production schedules are met to ensure customer delivery
Manage warehousing and storage in an orderly fashion and help with inventory counts
Organize and optimize reception of goods, preparation of orders and staging completed orders for loading
Coordinate with other departments
Education RequirementsMinimum: High School Diploma
Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Experience RequirementsWarehouse Experience: 3+ years of experience working in high-volume warehouse, distribution, or logistics environments, preferably within apparel, retail, or consumer goods.
Supervisory Experience: 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity (e.g., Team Lead, Shift Supervisor), with demonstrated ability in coordinating both full-time and temporary/seasonal workers.
Order Preparation & Receiving: Experience organizing reception of goods, order picking/packing, and staging outbound shipments for major Canadian retail accounts.
Inventory Control: Hands-on experience with physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and maintaining orderly product storage.
