Description:
The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. They assist in managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining a safe working environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., WMS, ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices and experience with inventory control systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for warehouse operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience operating material handling equipment

Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Help coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of inventory control systems to accurately track stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and help enforce procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Aid in optimizing warehouse layout and storage configurations to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Assist in developing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to coordinate inventory movements and meet customer demands.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs while maintaining service levels.
