Description

The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. They assist in managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining a safe working environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  5. Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., WMS, ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Knowledge of inventory management best practices and experience with inventory control systems.
  7. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for warehouse operations.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  10. Experience operating material handling equipment

Responsibilities

  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to coordinate inventory movements and meet customer demands.
  8. Assist in monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  9. Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs while maintaining service levels.
