JOB DESCRIPTION

Katto is a modern kitchenware company. From our workshop in Sheffield, we design and hand-make exceptional kitchenware with a big focus on knives. And - courtesy of our brilliant customers - we’re growing very quickly.
In light of this, we are looking to hire a hard working and detail oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee every element of our warehouse - from booking in stock, to picking orders, reverse logistics and simple customer service tasks. You will work 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays during the peak Christmas period.

SKILLS

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and leading a small team.
  • Good communication skills for handling customer queries.
  • Basic IT skills for stock booking and order management.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move stock as required.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be working closely with the Operations Manager to:

Stock Management:

  • Book stock into the system upon arrival.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure stock is stored safely and efficiently to optimise space.

Order Fulfillment:

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with courier services to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain an organised and efficient workflow within the warehouse

Customer Service & Queries:

  • Work with the customer service team to resolve any warehouse-related issues.

General Warehouse Duties:

  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes.
  • Support occasional stocktakes and audits.
