JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Women’s Softball Coach on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport of softball and a desire to help student-athletes develop their skills both on and off the field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous coaching experience, preferably in softball
• Strong knowledge of the rules and strategies of softball
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, parents, and staff
• Commitment to upholding the values and mission of the athletic program

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices
• Assists with logistics and planning for the team
• Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players
• Assist with game day preparations and strategy
• Help monitor and support the academic progress of student-athletes
• Assist with recruiting and scouting of potential players
• Promote a positive and inclusive team culture
