QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required (international degrees accepted)
• MBA is an asset, but not mandatory
• Freshers and newcomers to Canada are welcome to apply
• Prior experience in retail or food service management is beneficial but not mandatory
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a physical, fast-paced retail setting
• Familiarity with fresh produce or perishable inventory is an asset

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Assistant Manager to help lead our retail operations. You will support the daily management of the store, mentor team members, oversee inventory and displays, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support store operations to ensure efficient and profitable performance
• Lead and motivate team members in a positive and collaborative work environment
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, presentation, and food safety
• Oversee inventory: ordering, stock rotation, vendor communication
• Resolve customer concerns and feedback professionally
• Support hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Contribute to local marketing and promotional strategies, including social media
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Identify opportunities for operational and customer service improvements
