Job Role The GIC-AWS team owns, develops, and supports the public cloud strategy of the bank. This strategy is enabled by a truly cloud native public adoption tool, called Evolve which offers a unique way to onboard public cloud through a directive approach to cloud architecture. The platform covers directive, preventive and detective controls and achieves agility for the users of the platform. Responsibilities Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high performance, reliable, and scalable software solutions to manage AWS. To collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, while also maintaining and improving existing software performance. To test and maintain software products used to manage AWS to ensure strong functionality and optimization, recommends improvements as necessary, and assists in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, and estimates. Requirements Minimum 2 years working experience in creating software used to manage any public cloud environments, and in supporting enterprise applications deployed on public cloud within DBS Knowledge on CI/CD tools (e.g Git, Jenkins, Jfrog, etc.) General knowledge of enterprise security and public cloud security Knowledge on change management process Knowledge in software Release Management Well organized, adaptable and makes clear and effective decisions Knowledge and experience with observability and SRE tooling and philosophy General knowledge and experience with Python Awareness of continuous delivery and continuous integration development environment git Preferred to have certification from any of the major public cloud providers Location: DBS Asia Hub Job: Technology Schedule: Regular Employee Status: Full time DBS is more than a bank — we're shaping the future of finance and communities.
