Shift: 1st Shift Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt Essential Functions / Responsibilities * Operate and monitor the Amada EML CNC Laser machine for fabrication production. * Set up tooling, perform changeovers, and load materials ensuring proper alignment and accuracy. * Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to ensure parts are produced to specification. * Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards according to blueprint requirements. * Troubleshoot machine and production issues as they arise to minimize downtime. * Perform routine maintenance and basic machine upkeep to support optimal equipment performance. * Conduct quality inspections of finished parts to ensure compliance with customer and company standards. * Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to improve processes, efficiency, and product quality. * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures and regulations. * Support production goals and assist with other duties as assigned. Performance Measures * Accuracy of parts produced to blueprint specifications * Quality and consistency of finished products * Machine uptime and efficiency * Timely completion of production schedules * Compliance with safety procedures and work standards * Attendance, dependability, and teamwork Knowledge |Skills |Abilities * Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. * Excellent time management and organizational skills. * Good verbal communication skills. Must have effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly resolve issues. * Analytical and mathematical skills to interpret layouts and blueprints. * Ability to set up machines for production fabrication and troubleshoot. * Knowledge and ability to use dial/digital calipers to measure and hold geometric tolerances. * Communicate to Supervisor/programmers effectively to resolve issues. Education and/or Experience * Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Work Environment: Manufacturing Physical Demands: * Wear safety attire and protective gear on a daily basis. * Usually work indoors.
