Department Profile The Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm's books and records, and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanley's various businesses and its senior management team. Team Profile The role is based in Dublin and forms part of the Global Corporate Controllers and Planning (GCCP) group, specifically within the Legal Entity Control (LEC) function. The successful candidate will join the Dublin Finance team supporting the Investment Management Business Unit (BU) across its European head office and branch locations. What you'll do > Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly management, statutory and regulatory reporting processes. > Supporting the production of audited annual and interim financial statements and contributing materials for Board, Audit Committee and Risk Committee meetings. > Assisting with tax return preparation for both head office and branches. > Managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including the BU, auditors, Treasury, Tax, Legal and Compliance and Company Secretarial teams. > Ensuring integrity of the legal entity books and records. > Delivering timely and insightful information to senior management and the BU. > Reviewing transfer pricing policies, booking practices and tax treatments. > Partnering with Treasury and Capital Planning to manage capital and liquidity resources. > Supporting in the oversight of delegated activities to affiliated entities, ensuring compliance with global and local outsourcing frameworks, including KPI tracking, SLA maintenance and annual due diligence. > Collaborating with branch teams to strengthen control and oversight capabilities.
