Position: Associate Account Executive
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: (Remote) Toronto, ON
Division: Postmedia Integrated Advertising

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to prospect, identify, pursue, and close new revenue opportunities
  • Strong technical, sales, and listening skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think and act independently within a fast-paced multi-task driven environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to digital marketing; understanding and identifying opportunities for customers
  • Track record of managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams
  • Experience with CRM, and web-based meeting applications (e.g. Microsoft Teams)

Responsibilities
  • Proactively prospect and engage new business leads through outbound outreach, cold calling, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Work with the sales development team on sales qualified leads, starting from the discovery phase of the sales pipeline.
  • Identify client needs and recommend tailored advertising solutions
  • Conduct virtual discovery calls and sales presentations to decision-maker
  • Assist the client services team, as required, to help maintain relationships with clients and assist with all renewals and upsell opportunities.
  • Identify client needs and recommend tailored advertising solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities and consistently meet or exceed activity and revenue targets.
  • Record all client interactions, progress, and forecasting details in CRM tools
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and local market opportunities
