Responsibilities:
The Associate Account Manager works closely with a team of Account Managers to contribute to TFG’s ongoing profitable and sustainable growth by facilitating inbound/outbound calling and contact with new and existing sales channel customers to target equipment finance opportunities. The position will interact with both external customers as well as internal stakeholders. The Associate Account Manager is responsible for supporting a team of Account Managers with their book of customers through the sales funnel, net new customer acquisitions, foster relationships of existing customers, and provide equipment financing solutions to customers across North America.
- Assist with the execution of sales strategies for the sales channel and contribute to its success
- Establish net new relationships with customers over the phone while expanding on existing customer relationships with previously funded customers
- Support a team of Account Managers in negotiating with potential clients the terms of financial packages, including assisting in selling the terms of credit approvals and closing financing transactions, with a focus on meeting and exceeding volume quotas and over-rate targets
- Strategically advise the customer on their financing options and competitive solutions provided by lenders
- Strategically work with multiple lending sources to achieve the highest approval rate possible
- Make outbound calls to customers where applications have been submitted and information is required
- Provide customers with the necessary information to complete new credit applications and credit packages
- Respond to incoming inquiries and assist where applicable in negotiating approval terms commensurate with the quality of the application
- Assist a team of Account Managers with processing loan applications while following application guidelines and ensuring all outstanding loan related information is collected
- Provide details of approved applications and can be responsible for assisting in the sale of ancillary products such as insurance and other such products that TFG may introduce
- Update CRM with new prospects, change of status, contact information and notes or activities
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of our lender programs
- Troubleshoot deficiencies in funding or other aspects that arise in the sale/transaction process
- Exceed personal monthly, quarterly, and annual financial revenue targets
- Support ongoing department initiatives as directed by manager
