Amazement Square, a nationally recognized hands-on museum, is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated Accountant to join the museum’s financial department. In this role, the ideal candidate plays a vital role in the museum’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with the law, and managing personnel information. Required skills & qualifications include experience with accounting software, data entry, and QuickBooks; an excellent understanding of accounting procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); knowledge and experience with spreadsheets; and the ability to work in a team environment and independently. This is a FT position with a comprehensive health and generous PTO plans, and retirement benefits. A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is highly desirable, or any other related experience in the field.
