Overview:
The organization seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable individual to join the team as a DOT/Safety Administrator. This role provides essential support to Department of Transportation (DOT) and Safety compliance initiatives within the Jacksonville and North Florida Market.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the Jacksonville and North Florida Market, ensuring professional and organized operations.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Facilitate the smooth onboarding process for new drivers and non-drivers, including gathering and verifying necessary documentation (e.g., I-9 forms).
  • Driver Qualification Files: Collaborate with various departments to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and compliant driver qualification files.
  • Record Management: Organize and maintain meticulous driver records, both electronically and in hard copy, ensuring adherence to regulatory retention and purging guidelines.
  • Compliance Auditing: Conduct thorough audits of DOT and Safety documents to verify proper completion and compliance.
  • Issue Reporting: Proactively identify and communicate current and potential DOT compliance issues to the management team.
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing: Coordinate random drug and alcohol screenings for active drivers in the Jacksonville area.
  • Audit Participation: Actively participate in DOT audits and relevant conference calls.
  • Communication Management: Monitor and respond to emails and phone calls promptly and accurately.
  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to Control and Compliance guidelines across all business operations.
  • Cashiering: May be required to process vending funds accurately using currency counters. This includes the ability to lift and maneuver coin deposits weighing up to 25-35 lbs briefly.
  • Settlement Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Settlement Administrator during periods of absence, including reconciling Delivery Driver collections and addressing discrepancies.
