About the Role We're seeking a proactive and ambitious Associate Adviser to provide dedicated support to one of our senior Client Advisers. This is a unique opportunity to work one-on-one with a top-performing adviser who manages one of the largest and most complex client portfolios in the practice. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality advisory services, managing offshore resources, and developing your career in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career, with a clear pathway to progression and exposure to high-value clients ranging from family offices to ultra-high-net-worth groups. Responsibilities · Provide high-quality support to a Client Adviser managing a portfolio of high-value and complex client groups. · Partner with a dedicated offshore accountant to ensure productivity, quality, and efficient delegation. · Assist in delivering strategic advice, managing compliance obligations (especially ATO activity statements), and maintaining strong client relationships. · Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns, including complex group structures. · Manage client communications and ensure timely follow-up on enquiries. · Mentor and oversee junior accountants, ensuring work is peer-reviewed, professionally presented, and meets firm standards. · Maintain accurate electronic records, file notes, and use firm-standard templates and workpapers. · Track daily time entries and workflow reports, meeting deadlines and maintaining an efficient level of productivity. · Stay current with tax legislation, rulings, and industry software; meet CPD requirements through ongoing training. · Support internal initiatives, contribute to service innovation, and recommend process improvements. · Foster a collaborative, positive team environment and actively participate in firm-wide projects. · Provide regular feedback to management and maintain a tidy, paper-light workspace. Your Experience · CA qualified with approximately 5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in a Business Advisory setting. · Proven ability to manage complex client work and collaborate effectively with senior professionals. · Strong relationship-building, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence. · Confident and capable communicator with a proactive mindset. · Experience managing or working with offshore teams is highly regarded. · Candidates from mid-tier or Big 4 advisory backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
