Associate Aerodynamics Engineer (Aerodynamic Analysis) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an energetic and innovative Associate Aerodynamics Engineer (Aerodynamics Analysis) to join the BCA Flight Sciences team in North Charleston, SC. The BCA Flight Sciences South Carolina team has a growing demand for engineering talent to support 787 production and delivery activities. This team is responsible for resolving aerodynamic issues that are identified during manufacturing and demonstrating compliance for delivery. This team is part of the larger Flight Sciences organization and may support other programs and activities as required. As an Aerodynamics Engineer, you will be working on items that directly impact aircraft safety and quality on delivery and aircraft performance in service. Position Responsibilities: Performs aerodynamic analysis to support BCA Flight Sciences South Carolina statement of work Supports aerodynamic issues during aircraft manufacturing and customer delivery Demonstrates compliance with aerodynamic regulations and customer requirements Conducts aerodynamic tests Helps develop and improve aerodynamic analysis tools and processes Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry 2+ years of related work experience Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Master of Science degree in aerospace engineering or related discipline Experience with aerodynamic analysis Experience with Aerodynamics Engineering Knowledge of regulations related to aerodynamics Experience with 787 production support Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
