Associate Analyst Location - Parramatta Employment type – Temporary full-time role for 12 months Salary - $84,659.00 pa - $92,701.00 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role The Associate Analyst role sits within the Organisational Performance team in FACSIAR. This role contributes high‑quality data preparation, analysis, reporting, analytical support to Family and Community Services Insights, Analysis & Research (FACSIAR). This role offers the opportunity to undertake meaningful, real-world data analysis across child protection, out-of-home care, and broader cross-government initiatives, while building analytical capability to improve outcomes for the people of NSW. What you’ll do In this role you will: Support the publication of routine scheduled reports and dashboards. What we’re looking for The Associate Analyst - Organisation Performance requires the following, in addition to the capabilities outlined in the role description: Qualifications or experience in a relevant discipline such as mathematics, statistics, data science, actuarial studies, economics or another quantitative focused field. Demonstrated experience in extracting, analysing, and reporting from database and datasets. Good skills in data and analytical tools, including Excel and Tableau, as well as programming in relevant languages and statistical packages such as SQL, SPSS, R, and Python.
