POSITION OVERVIEW

The Asset Management team is a dedicated team with a dual mandate: to manage select investments from across the BDC Capital platform and to advise BDC internal funds on divestiture strategies for companies in their portfolios, as required.
Associates join one of our teams as an early specialist in investment finance, to lead parts of the process of evaluating potential investments and managing BDC Capital’s portfolio.
In this role, you will be a key contributor in the management of a diverse portfolio of investments and lead one or a few simultaneous investment and exit analysis workstreams. You will cover strategic topics such as markets, industries, ecosystems, and competition, as well as operational ones, such as financials, management, and products. You will develop an understanding of human resources and board effectiveness. You are expected to combine sharp analytic skills and business sense to leverage the input of experts on a variety of market and industrial subjects.
