Associate Attorney

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Associate to join our legal team in Newton, MA. The successful candidate should have significant experience in family law, specifically in contested and complex litigation relating to domestic relations.

1. Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, adoption, and domestic violence cases.
2. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials.
3. Review and draft various legal documents, such as petitions, motions, agreements, and orders.
4. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to effectively advise clients.
5. Work closely with support staff in drafting and preparing legal documents.

6. Maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring they are updated on the progress of their cases.

7. Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Civil Litigation Experience experience
• General familiarity with Litigation Attorney
• Solid understanding of family law
• Experience with Criminal Litigation
• Well-founded grasp of litigation
• Civil Rights Litigation experience preferred
• Practical knowledge of Litigation Documents
• Proven knowledge of civil litigation
• Civil litigation experience required
• Quality experience with Litigation Experience
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines
• First-rate academic credentials and references
• Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills
• High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
• Licensed attorney
