The Global Engineering Pool in India is committed to deliver skilled resources to support projects and Internal standardization activities with in GEA for LPT as well as other GEA divisions with ultimate aim of generating potential savings for GEA by utilization of low-cost resources. Responsibilities / Tasks Role & Responsibilities -Associate Automation Engineer • Software development and commissioning of automation systems - PLC, HMI, SCADA, MES • PLC logic development, SCADA Screen development, incorporating MES Reports. • Prepare FDS and various other technical documents. • Conduct Software FAT. • Conduct Electrical Panel FAT. • Onsite commissioning support. • Remote site support. • Partner with cross-functional teams within and outside the organization. • Working in close collaboration with GEA global & local teams. • Must be able to work independently, remotely, and with minimal supervision • Must be capable of adapting quickly across job functions and responsibilities Tasks - Associate Automation Engineer • Software Logic Development in Automation Platform Siemens. • HMI/SCADA Screen Development in Siemens. • FDS write up and development. • Incorporating MES Reports using different inhouse MES Products & Tools. • Software FAT • Electrical Panel FAT. • Onsite commissioning activities. Travel requirement • The Engineer would be based in Vadodara, India office. • Extensive travel will be required, Involving extended periods on sites throughout India & abroad. Your Profile / Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering Degree in • Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls or similar education background Work Experience - Associate Automation Engineer • 3 -7 year • Experience on any particular Pharma / Chemical Industry / Food / Beverages / Dairy / Brewery • Background in control systems-related software design for process/equipment control Skills - Associate Automation Engineer • Experience of basic automation platform- e.g., Siemens - TIA Portal, STEP7, WinCC • Knowhow on HMIs specifically Siemens TIA HMI configuration, Siemens WinCC flexible, other systems also an advantage e.g., Rockwell, GE Ifix System platform etc. • Experience of various programming languages e.g., ladder, SCL, STL, FBD • Strong software logic development and SCADA Screen development skills. • Know how of basic MES. • Experience of Danfoss/SIEMENS VFD • Experience of preparing FDS • Basic knowledge of Electrical drawing reading and components. • Basic knowledge and understanding of P&ID drawing. • Good experience in onsite commissioning activities. • Know how of Profibus/Profinet and Industrial Ethernet Network components. • Experience in engineering activity with varying functions from system design to commissioning • Proficient at troubleshooting and fault findings. • Experience on other control system platform like Allen Bradley shall be added advantage Did we spark your interest?
