Summary: Dime Commercial Bank is currently hiring for a Associate Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Analyst role at its Headquarters in Hauppauge, Long Island. The Associate BSA Analyst is responsible for the preparation of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR), as well as transaction alert monitoring and other activities as assigned by BSA Management. Team is willing to train. Salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $50,000 to $57,500 annually. The exact compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, and location. Please attach an updated resume to be considered. Responsibilities: * Review suspect CTRs in the Bank’s Transaction Monitoring Software, to determine if a CTR is required. * Reconcile and prepare the Bank’s CTRs. File CTRs after Quality Assurance (QA) has been completed by a BSA Analyst. * Other CTR-related duties may include completing CTR amendments, CTR back filings, and transmitting electronic files to FinCEN as assigned by BSA Management. * Perform Annual CTR Exemption reviews as directed and in accordance with department procedures. * Provide timely assistance to branches and other internal departments with questions regarding cash transactions and accurate preparation of CTRs. * Provide research related to CTRs as requested by BSA Management. * Review and evaluate Transaction Monitoring alerts as assigned and directed. * Contact branches for additional information needed to explain activity that has been identified as potentially unusual or suspicious as it relates to CTRs or alert reviews. * Escalate investigations of potentially unusual or suspicious transactions to BSA Management by preparing a draft investigation narrative and gathering supporting documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines. * Any other duties or special projects as assigned by BSA Management.   Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree preferred. * Minimum two years’ experience in the financial services/banking industry; prior BSA/AML experience not required. * General understanding of BSA/AML and OFAC laws, regulations, and guidance. * The ability to understand, interpret, convey, and implement the requirements of pertinent laws and regulations is essential. * Must exhibit the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. * Ability to work with other business units in a professional manner. * Strong transactional research, analytical, multitasking, and proble- solving skills required. * Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, and follow-up skills are necessary. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite software, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
