Description

Objective of the position:
Under supervision of Franchise Lead or Sales & Brand Manager and Medical Vaccines & Immunotherapies (V&I) team. Assists in designing, implementing and evaluating the marketing activities of assigned products within a given product line including distribution channel solutions (may include digital, social media, inside sales, public immunization programs). Assists in demand analysis and planning, contracting with the government and operational administration of national immunization programmes including planning and execution of supporting marketing activities as well as liaison with internal stakeholders (e.g. Corporate Affairs, Supply Chain,..). Logistical support for the distribution of vaccines in the public vaccination programme and material support for doctors in documenting vaccinations. Assists in review of marketing programs and helps implement changes. Assists in analysis of market data to identify key segment drivers. Works in conjunction with promotional and direct-to-consumer teams.
Main tasks

Strategy

  • Support strategic Product Management and Launch Planning lead by medical team
  • Implementation and roll-out of global brand strategy (One4All, strategic plan) at local level
  • Responsibility for the achievement of objectives (KPIs)
  • Marketing planning and execution of channel materials
  • Roll-out of PR and communication plans, e.g. multi-channel
  • Market and competitor monitoring (analysis, market observation, etc.)
  • Sharing best practices in the region, e.g. through global brand forums Exchange with colleagues as well as with AZ Global and Operativ
  • Liaise with various internal interfaces.

Operative

  • Represent the brand team in specific meetings/calls such as a monthly WESE and global
  • Planning and utilization of the brand budget, budget monitoring
  • Internal first point of contact for commercial field personnel with questions regarding the public vaccination program
  • Work with local and national opinion leaders to support execution of key initiatives
  • Analysis and planning of demand for national immunization programmes
  • Operational administration of national immunization programmes including planning and execution of supporting marketing activities
  • Logistical support for the distribution of vaccines in the public vaccination programme
  • Planning, design and distribution of supporting material for doctors for documentation of administered vaccinations
  • First point of commercial contact for HCPs participating in public immunization programs.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • At least 3-5 years proven work experience in a similar role in multinational matrix company and previous industry sector Excellent command in English and German (written and spoken)
