What You will do The successful candidate will lead the commercialisation of assigned brands in South Africa by developing and implementing the marketing strategy, operational marketing mix, and tactics to achieve the brand ambition, delivering budgeted or above-budget sales growth. In this role, you will be closely involved in launches of new indications and LINEX activities aligned to the growth of our existing oncology product portfolio. Job Description Design, implement, and evaluate the marketing activities for assigned products within a given product line, including distribution channel solutions such as digital, social media, and inside sales. Assist in reviewing marketing programmes and help implement changes. Support the analysis of market data to identify key segment drivers. Work in conjunction with promotional and direct-to-consumer teams. Typical Accountabilities will include: Champion the brand among office and field colleagues, as well as external customers, to ensure the Brand Plan delivers crucial short‑term growth and long‑term brand success. Drive launch excellence for new indications and brands allocated to you. Design, implement, and evaluate marketing activities for the assigned brand, which may include distribution channel solutions. Align global strategic brand plans with local customer and market insights to develop tailored and effective local brand strategy, brand messages, and tactical plans. Liaise closely with the sales team to gather market and customer feedback, embed campaigns, and provide brand vision and leadership. Ensure full understanding of the rationale and insights underpinning campaigns, messages, and marketing actions, and demonstrate how field input was used in material development. Maximise the use of all commercial and medical channels by developing brand materials (digital and print) and activities through cross‑functional collaboration. Continuously embed customer and market insights into all brand activities by synthesising qualitative feedback from various sources (market research reports, promotional analyses, customer insights, field insights) with quantitative feedback from data sources and reports. Work with analysts to assess market data and identify key segment drivers, growth opportunities, and business threats. Liaise with cross‑functional team members and external agencies to ensure full communication and successful execution of marketing plans. Manage the budget for assigned brand(s), maintaining an outlook that supports corporate sustainability. Be the product, competitor, and market expert for the assigned brand. Experience in launching new pharma products in a market Desirable: MBA in relevant field Previous Oncology/Specialty care, Multi-national Pharma companies.
