About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to help lead the charge on some of Canada’s top ready-to-drink (RTD) and Beer brands namely, Guinness, Smirnoff Ice, Captain Morgan, and Crown Royal, through high-impact marketing, performance tracking, and culturally resonant campaigns.
As Assistant Brand Manager, you’ll work closely with the Senior Brand Manager, Brand Manager, Senior Trade Manager, and Regional Trade Marketing Manager across the portfolio to support the development and execution of 360° brand plans. You’ll drive campaign delivery, performance analysis, budget management, and cross-functional alignment across multiple channels.
This is a high-growth role built for a results-driven marketer who thrives in fast-paced, consumer-obsessed environments and who is ready to blend creative thinking with sharp business acumen.

  • Drive brand growth and cultural relevance across Diageo’s Premium RTD portfolio

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy – support annual plan, positioning, messaging
  • Commercial Strategy – Support in the creation of point-of-sale materials, sell sheets, and manage commercial tool programs. Ensure compliance with Diageo Marketing Code
  • Insights & Analysis – track trends, competitors, consumer behaviours
  • Campaign Execution – manage integrated campaigns with agencies
  • Brand Activations – deliver consumer-connecting events and experiences
  • Innovation – cross-functional support for the process and execution of innovation and brand change projects
  • Budget & Return On Investment – manage spend, track performance
  • Key Performance Indicator Tracking – monitor sales, share, and sentiment
  • Collaboration – work across agencies, sales, innovation, customer marketing

Candidate Checklist

  • 3–5 years brand or marketing experience
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
