Responsibilities
  • Know and lead the automotive chemical and parts businesses, guiding the organization toward the right strategies and plans to win in the category.
  • Publish best-in-class quarterly letters that outline key market results, drivers, and recommended actions, along with driving those recommendations through execution.
  • Lead business review and brand planning, driving OGSM priorities and initiatives.
  • Ensure Valvoline has the right portfolio, distribution, pricing, and promotion to consistently grow volume, profit, and share.
  • Collaborate with PS&M to maintain Initiative Master Plans, ensuring sufficient innovation over the next 3-5 years to deliver the Valvoline Global Long-Range Plan.
  • Lead customer account meetings with Sales counterparts to enable data-driven selling stories that drive volume and penetration at customer locations (including National Meeting content, trade show assets, etc.).
  • Liaison with other members of the marketing team, driving a positive team culture.
