Position Summary An Associate Business Consultant is responsible in providing leadership for a major portion of a product or program and design product-based solutions to meet customer requirements. They are expected to have strong knowledge on both domain and product with up-to-date insights to industry trends. They should cultivate collaboration across teams to provide required support to meet project deliverables and business goals. The selected candidate is expected to become a Subject Matter Expert in the domain in terms of product offering, technology and regulation and work with senior members of the team to ensure customer solution competitive in features, performance and cost. Role Responsibilities Conduct product walkthrough and design discussions to ensure the business need is correctly capture in the proposed solution. Should be able to manage very dynamic scope/changing requirements. Validate requirements against market/industry standards and best practices and propose changes to client requirements. Analyze the product/solution impact and build acceptance criteria of CRs together with the team. Review test cases and verify the test coverage. Facilitate functional refinement with the development team members to ensure implementation details are well defined. Manage a sprint backlog aligned with delivery milestone plan and business priorities. Monitor project progress and highlight cost/schedule overruns upfront. Uphold and improve documentation templates/structures and maintain the correct level of detail for epic/story level requirements. Maintain/evaluate traceability of requirements with correct linkage of functional/non-functional requirements and test documents. Ability to own a functional area of large change program without supervision. Should have end-to-end knowledge on the market structure, standards and regulations relevant to own product domain. Conduct end-to-end trainings and demos to prospective or existing clients. Preferred Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree with an inclination towards FinTech/Technology. 4+ years of experience in IT Business Analysis, product owner roles. Should have had exposure to all phases of a project; initial requirements gathering, build, go-live, post-go-live support. CFA L1 or CISI L2 completed will be an advantage. Strong knowledge on market/industry standards and regulations related to Capital Markets will be an added advantage. Familiarity in technologies related to data engineering and cloud such as Kafka, Redis, Kudu, Spark.
