As an Associate Business Developer, you will build a robust network of contacts in exciting fields of technological innovation, ranging from drug development to med-tech. You will be primarily responsible for generating leads and assist in maintaining existing relationships for our business development teams. We believe that success in this role demands a high tolerance for rejection and the ability to cultivate relationships that may not yield immediate results but will grow into meaningful partnerships over time.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Intensive network building with innovative companies and academic leaders in the field of in Lifescience and Health technology fields.
  • Developing a pipeline of strong leads that will convert into sales opportunities over time.
  • Establishing yourself as a trusted advisor in the Lifesciences and health funding landscape

TASKS:

  • First few months will be dedicated primarily to prospecting and relationship building.
  • You will be expected to make a high volume of cold outreach to potential clients and industry experts.
  • Build an in-depth understanding of Lifesciences and Health sectors, including drug development, medtech, biotech and others
  • Immediate sales results are not the primary metric of success; instead, focus will be on building a quality network and pipeline and supporting our business development teams.
