The Global Business Intelligence Team, as part of the wider Global Retail Sales Enablement Function, responsible for providing in-depth analysis, commentary and reporting solutions that can surface insight for a variety of key customers across the business, including senior management, sales leadership, wholesalers, marketing, product and finance. The team also maintains the integrity of the firm’s advisor and trade data through a robust data stewardship program, as well as enabling flawless integration of end-to-end reporting processes to ensure the data quality and consistency between source and operational systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • SQL server and/or business intelligence reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qliksense, alteryx).
  • Microsoft Office suite as well as Visio or other process mapping tools
  • Ability to communicate and interface professionally vertically and horizontally across the organization.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This role will be primarily responsible for collaborating with our key partners and technology organizations to scope and analyze requirements and design fit for purpose solutions that fit within our tech stack, owning development from discovery to delivery. Analysts will collaborate with partners to translate business needs into meaningful, analytic solutions. As part of this end-to-end workstream they will also develop detailed sales and CRM reports and use tools like Tableau, Salesforce CRMA and Power BI, to present and visualize findings.
Development will support prescriptive business intelligence by efficiently explaining past performance and driving commercial decision making. This includes building tools that help identify target customer segments, recommend products, and advise on sales strategies – drawing on assets, sales, and redemptions data as well as market trends. Regular financial and distribution reporting includes compensation tracking, bonus calculation and goal/target setting and monitoring.

The successful candidate for this position will be an analytical problem solver, have a general understanding of financial services /operations, and strive to deliver solutions that drive commercial impact. You’ll be proactive and adaptable BI professional, with ability to understand the business context of the data and the technical delivery of solutions.
Confident of learning an evolving business environment, where transformation is ongoing and technology can help craft business operations by becoming data driven. Experience across BI tools and data platforms as well as understanding how data flows/used for different use cases is useful. Strong collaborator and a focus on delivering value will be key to prioritizing high impact work, building relationships with our partners and owning projects.
