Description
This position will be based in Pune and will be in Shared service center of Supply Chain Management function(SCM Services). The principle role of the this position is to support Electrical Business in US region in the tactical procurement activities. Person in this position will be responsible for effectively supporting all the supply planning and tactical procurement activities within Material Execution function. This includes understanding materials procurement,planning supplies for production,ongoing supplier relationship management and effective stakeholder relationship management.This position require the incumbent to work in US shifts. Its energy-efficient solutions help customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more reliably, safely and sustainably. These efforts are enhancing overall operational efficiencies to consistently generate significant value for the enterprise. Graduate in Engineering or Equivalent/ Post Graduate in any stream 4-5 yrs experience Purchasing exposure in Manufacturing or Electrical Industry or shared service center Domain Knowledge - SCM Supply Planning; Supplier Schedulling, BSW Reproting and Analysis PO and Supply Management Order Mgt (ERPs / IT Applications/CRM Application) Master Data Management E&O Management & Liquidation Logistics Co-Ordination Negotiation Skills; Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Office and Power Point; Effective Communication, Presentation & Listening Skills High Learning Agility Customer Centric Approach Escalation Management and Solution provider Daily confirmation of open Purchase Orders and ensure on time delivery Project Sales Impact by sites based on shortages & past dues Track OH versus requirements by site to track risk Work with suppliers to gather potential substitutes of the material that are short. Demand Planning, PO creation and timely PO acknowledgement & follow up with suppliers; Manage open POs through confirmations for deliveries, updating ERPs and manging orders till delivery Meeting the SLAs as defined; Creating and timely upgrading the SOPs and other related documents, meeting QMS requirments; Timely resolution of ‘On Hold' invoices for the various sites working closely with site, suppliers, IM team; Day to day communication with various stakeholders like Site Buyers,SCM Manager,Suppliers with timely actions and resolutions, attending site tier meeting . Working Knowledge of ERP; Mapics, Vista preferred Negotiation skills will be an added advantage; Knowledge on cost analysis, ROP & Planning parameter analysis; Should have hands on experience of Part Rationalization, Standardization; Sound knowledge of End to End P2P cycle, Product Costing & Manufacturing Processes; Should be able to analyze opportunity, initiate and execute projects to achieve Cost Out/Saving, Productivity Targets. Proficient knowledge on SCM functions.
