Description
The Associate Chief Medical Information Officer - Ambulatory will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation and advancement of clinical information systems to assist the organization in the delivery of the highest quality and most appropriate patient care. This ACMIO serves as the primary clinical liaison between IT and ambulatory clinical communities, focusing on supporting value-based care (reports, dashboards), leading efforts to improve provider efficiency (optimization and innovation), assisting in the development of clinician outreach strategies and representing the Ambulatory clinics and practices in internal and external governance activities managing and aligning growth of the service line. Education Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) (Required) Board certification in internal medicine, family medicine or alternative ambulatory-based specialty (Required) Board certification in clinical informatics (Preferred) Experience 5 Years experience in an in an Ambulatory Care Setting (Required) Strong understanding of ambulatory clinical practice and affiliated workflow processes as well as clinical information systems and outcomes management (Required) Proven track record of building influential relationships across a variety of stakeholders (Required) Electronic health record (EHR) implementation, optimization and workflow development (Required) Proven ability to achieve measurable goals (Required) _
