SUMMARY

The Associate Chief Operating Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and managing resources for multiple departments/service lines on a twenty-four (24) hours basis. The departments managed include Security, Plant Operations, Food and Nutrition Services and Environmental Services. Responsibilities include: financial to include budget; efficient/effective resource utilization; recruitment and effective/efficient management of assigned staff; achieving quality outcomes; performance improvement; monitoring of quality and quantity of assigned areas; maintaining positive working relationships with staff, leadership and senior leadership and the purchase and maintenance of equipment. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelors’ s Degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university

EXPERIENCE:

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years in a related discipline of area with supervision
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of progressively responsible management experience
