Junior Accountant, Accounting &Tax Compliance Services, Shanghai Title of the position: Junior Accountant, Accounting &Tax Compliance Services Location: Shanghai, China Work Schedule/ Timings: 40 hours weekly Onsite/Remote/Hybrid status: Onsite Introduction to the role: This role offers an excellent opportunity to build up accounting, tax and financial management experience. You will be part of our accounting &tax compliance services team and provide accounting and advisory support to international businesses operating in China. Job Accountability/ Role & Responsibilities: • Preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports in a timely manner; • Preparation of monthly payroll; • Completing monthly and quarterly tax filling; • As a key point of contact in client relationships to enhance client experience; • Liaising with clients’ auditors for internal and external audit; • Daily cash/bank works, including money receiving and payment and other treasury related works; • Payments and receipts reconciliation with bank statement, and preparing bank reconciliation on a regular basis; • Issuing invoice and handling the invoice verification on a regular basis; • Safe-keeping financial documents; • Efficient and effective communications with clients; • Maintain and enhance good and stable relationships with clients and local authorities; • Involving in any other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Educational Qualifications & Skills： • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related discipline; • 3-5 years of accounting experience, in MNC or consulting firms preferable; • Good command of both spoken and written English • Familiar with Kingdee system and Microsoft Office • Team player with good communication, interpersonal and client servicing skills • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines • CET-6 or equivalent level; • Junior Accounting Professional Qualification; • ACCA, CPA, CMA preferable.
