Responsibilities

The Associate Commission Analyst will support the administration of Aptean’s global commission program and help drive the accuracy and efficiency of our monthly commission processes. Reporting to the Incentive Compensation Manager, this role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a Finance-based compensation function, working cross-functionally with Sales Operations, HR, and Accounting counterparts.
This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a foundational background in Sales Operations, Finance, or Sales Compensation, who has strong attention to detail and a desire to learn commission systems and tools. The Associate Analyst will play a key role in processing new hire and termination updates, validating data inputs, and supporting reporting and inquiries related to global sales compensation.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the monthly commission processing cycle, including data validation, processing updates for new hires and terminations, and assisting with payout reviews
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops/GTM to ensure quota and plan data are accurately maintained in the system
  • Partner with HR to process new hire and termination updates in the commission system and maintain hierarchy accuracy
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of commission plan documents through CaptivateIQ and DocuSign
  • Help monitor and triage commission-related inquiries from global sales teams, escalating issues as needed
  • Provide support in generating and maintaining standard reports for Accounting counterparts and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to documentation of processes and procedures, identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency over time
  • Gain hands-on experience with commission automation tools and develop your understanding of sales compensation strategy and operations
