Description

Roles & responsibilities Understanding basics of tax regulations for Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS). Work of on performing basis/par reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, and preparation of Tax Forms 5471/8621 for CLO Issuers Work on engagements related to taxable income computations on structured products including calculation of various components of income and expense, such as original issue discount (OID), market discount and premium. Work with large sets of transaction data and identify improvements through resources such as Excel, VBA and Alteryx Prepare client deliverables and working papers supporting our findings
