ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT – UA (AMS)

Wrocław, Poland
As the Associate Consultant you will perform underwriting support activities associated with new business, renewals, maintenance of the accounts and on models and systems. You will utilize your strong communication and relationship building skills as you work closely with the underwriters, brokers and various functions and departments within the company.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Provision of underwriting support and analysis
  • Research and clerical support (quotes, submissions, preparing various policy documentation).
  • Operation of rating models and underwriting systems and involvement in the wider pricing and underwriting process.
  • Underwriting administration throughout the underwriting process and subsequent to binding including responsibility for input into and maintenance of the transactional system, document management system and exposure management system.
  • Ad hoc analysis and tasks.

You will report to local Assistant Manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • University degree or relevant experience.
  • Previous work experience in the insurance industry.
  • Fluent English.
  • Compelling analytical and organizational skills.
  • Compelling competency in MS Office applications, with a particular emphasis on Excel skills
  • Keen interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with internal and external colleagues.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness and capability to learn.
  • Ability to work from 2 PM to 10 PM.
  • Self-driven skills and a sense of responsibility for the entrusted tasks
  • Demonstrated attributes of attention to quality and detail, decision-making and problem-solving.
