Job Summary As an Entry-Level Consultant in Oracle Financial Services Consulting, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and support of Oracle’s digital banking solutions. Joining a dynamic team, you will gain practical experience across technical, business, and client-facing activities—supporting a broad spectrum of projects in development and consulting environments. This role offers exposure to leading-edge Oracle Banking products, fostering your professional growth within the financial services technology domain. Qualifications & Skills Mandatory Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline. 1–4 years of experience in development, implementation, or support of core banking applications, with at least 1 year in key skill areas. Proficiency in software programming (Core Java, J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, JavaScript, XML); familiarity with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Oracle Database (18c/12c) is a plus. Basic knowledge of software deployment and troubleshooting on application servers, particularly Oracle WebLogic. Working knowledge of release management, source control tools, and issue tracking for enterprise applications. Exposure to banking domain and digital banking applications, with a clear understanding of banking concepts and terminology. Strong communication, client interaction, and documentation skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness to work offshore, travel to client locations, and operate in rotating shifts as required. Commitment to undertake relevant Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE technical certifications as necessary. Good-to-Have Exposure to cloud/SaaS deployments, Agile and DevOps tools, testing tools, and software development best practices. Experience with Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, or middleware such as Oracle Fusion SOA Suite. Awareness of software development methodologies and experience with banking or financial services clients. Self-Assessment Questions Do you have at least one year of hands-on experience in developing, implementing, or supporting enterprise applications, specifically within the banking or financial services domain? Can you demonstrate proficiency in software programming using Core Java, J2EE, Microservices-related technologies, and Spring Boot? Are you comfortable troubleshooting and deploying applications on Oracle WebLogic or similar application server platforms? Have you worked with release management, source control, and issue tracking tools within an enterprise IT environment? Are you willing and able to work on client sites, adapt to shift-based schedules, and pursue certifications relevant to Oracle banking solutions?
