Job Summary As an entry-level Consultant, you will join our Banking Consulting team (Europe) to support development, implementation, and managed services for Oracle’s digital banking products. Guided by experienced professionals, you will contribute technical expertise to deliver high-quality IT solutions that drive digital transformation in the financial sector. Qualifications & Skills Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 1–4 years of experience in software development, implementation, or support, with at least 1 year in digital banking application projects. Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices technologies (including Springboot), JavaScript, and XML. Exposure to Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Oracle Database (12c/18c). Experience with application server software, especially Oracle Weblogic. Familiarity with release management and source control tools. Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills in English. Client interaction skills. Readiness to work onsite/offshore and travel as required. Willingness to pursue Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE technical certifications. Good-to-Have: Knowledge of banking domain concepts and digital banking applications. Experience with Agile, DevOps, cloud/SaaS deployments, and testing tools. Familiarity with middleware solutions (Oracle Fusion SOA Suite, OBIEE Reports, BIP). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint). Exposure to software development processes and industry best practices. Self-Assessment Questions Do I have hands-on experience with Core Java, J2EE, and microservices technologies in a software development or implementation setting? Can I demonstrate 1+ years’ experience working with digital banking products or in the financial services IT domain? Am I comfortable troubleshooting and deploying enterprise applications (e.g., on Oracle Weblogic) and documenting my work to defined standards? Do I possess strong English communication skills for client interactions and technical documentation? Am I willing and able to travel, work flexible hours, and pursue further technical certifications as required by the role?
