Responsibilities

The Associate, Business Analysis, is primarily responsible for working with our retail bank network and newly launched digital bank, Openbank, to help the Strategy team define the future roadmap and decision making process. This will require high level strategic thinking and solving process changes, test cases, and data mapping. We are part of an exciting initiative as we transition to becoming a digital bank with branches and are a nimble team that assesses, updates and creates the framework and strategic initiatives necessary to propel Santander forward.

  • Provide expertise across multiple functional groups as we continue to launch our digital bank throughout our physical network.
  • Participates in operational initiatives which includes developing work plans, gather and synthesize data, conduct analyses and implement recommendations.
  • Contributes to operating excellence for the organization, including measuring/reporting progress against key objectives and contribute to business updates/quarterly reviews.
  • Analyze business processes to identify potential issues and recommending levers for improvements.
  • Conduct analysis of business processes and functional requirements; preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the findings.
  • Communicates with LOB partners, understands the problem at hand and ensures end-product quality.
  • Works with cross-functional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, work flow, information sources and distribution paths, and system specifications.
  • Provides expert input and best practice guidance on areas of subject matter expertise

2+ Years in a Management Consulting role - Required.

  • Ability to understand the “big picture” while maintaining exceptional attention to execution details.
  • Excellent written and oral communications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Capacity for advanced problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, experience with MS Project or equivalent an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to data transformation, functions/expressions, VBA, Macros.
  • Structure and package your work into compelling presentations and communications that influence various audiences including executives.
  • Strong logical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Familiarity with business cycles, both fiscal and calendar.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-directed and able to flourish in a fast-paced environment
