Counterintuity, an award-winning marketing firm located in Burbank and dedicated to helping nonprofits, government agencies and aligned businesses make an improvement on the world, seeks an Associate Content Strategist to create scalable content and campaigns from ideation to execution for multiple clients. We're looking for a clever, precise, driven creative with exceptional writing skills to develop impactful content and campaigns that attract, nurture, and convert relevant audiences throughout the marketing funnel. Your role and impact You will report to our Senior Project Manager, who leads and manages the Production team. Working closely with Counterintuity marketers and strategists, as the Associate Content Strategist you will be tasked with bringing the best ideas, innovations, and insights to life through written, digital and media-driven mediums. Duties include: Write strategic and engaging communications, messaging and targeted writing across multiple channels including social, web, print and email Develop, manage and execute content strategy campaigns Ideate content buckets and build content calendars and timelines Maintain a consistent brand voice from project to project by developing a style guide to include brand tone, writing styles, punctuation and grammar preferences, and SEO best practices Post content to all social media channels and facilitate community management and social listening on all social media channels. Strategize talent activations, sweepstakes/contests, and digital activations Perform content audits, reporting and analytics Participate in brainstorms for various campaigns across the company Work well within collaborative, integrated teams; manage and adhere to timelines and budgets, anticipate issues and work towards solutions for complex problems You’re qualified if you have: 3+ years' experience in content creation; experience within a digital or social agency strongly preferred Strong knowledge and proficiency across all major social media platforms with a passion for following trends and emerging platforms Strong writing and editing skills; highly detail oriented Copy editing experience and working familiarity with AP Style Book preferred Conscientious, and proven ability for time management Ability to juggle multiple accounts and projects effectively Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related Schedule: Monday to Friday This position is partly remote, with 1-2 days in office expected Compensation & Benefits: $50,000+, commensurate with experience Benefits (PTO, medical, dental, more) offered Participation in 401k with Safe Harbor match Quarterly profit-sharing Two weeks’ paid vacation in the first year, plus 9 paid holidays Friendly work environment Fun team outings Applicants are requested to provide a mix of five writing samples drawn from social posts, blog entries, web copy, newsletters, or other relevant examples.
