ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a commercially minded Associate with a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, who thrives in a collaborative and client-focused environment. In addition, you will be/have:

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law
• Genuine transactional experience with a solid understanding of deal structures
• Strong technical legal skills and attention to detail
• Strong client-facing skills, with the confidence and communication ability to foster trusted relationships.
• A team player who is proactive, motivated, honest, has high integrity and driven to deliver results

Our high-performing Corporate & Commercial team is seeking an Associate to work on major commercial transactions alongside some of Adelaide’s leading lawyers. This role will see you:

• Advising major ASX-listed, private and overseas companies on high-value, complex corporate matters, including clients in the water industry, defence sector, software industry, and other general corporate commercial sectors
• Working on a wide range of transactions including capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and business transactions
• Delivering strategic legal and commercial solutions tailored to client needs
• Collaborating closely with senior lawyers and directors on headline transactions
• Being a member of a supportive and ambitious team committed to excellence and innovation
