Associate Corporate Counsel Department:  Legal & Compliance Reports to: General Counsel Location:  Wendell, NC Position Status: Full-Time Status:  Salary, Exempt Management Level: Non-Management JOB SUMMARY KIOTI Tractor, a leader in the design and manufacture of compact tractors, utility vehicles, turf care, and compact construction equipment, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Corporate Counsel with 3 to 5 years of legal experience in general corporate and business law to join our team in Wendell, NC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate governance, contract negotiation, and business transactions. Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is highly preferred.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB * Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. * Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various business agreements, including dealership, supply, and service contracts. * Oversee corporate governance practices and help ensure adherence to best practices. * Advise on risk management, including regulatory and compliance issues within the manufacturing industry. * Collaborate closely with internal teams, including HR, finance, and operational departments, to mitigate legal risks and ensure alignment with business objectives. * Stay updated on relevant legal developments, industry regulations, and trends impacting the business. * Provide support in dispute resolution, including pre-litigation and litigation management when necessary. * Support other legal functions and special projects as assigned.  EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school. * Licensed to practice law in one or more U.S. states. * 3 to 5 years of legal experience, with a strong focus on corporate and contract matters. * Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred. * Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail and organization skills. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
