Job Description Role Overview Partnering with colleagues in Product, Finance, Legal and the country businesses, you will manage the full M&A lifecycle from market mapping and financial modeling through diligence, signing and the first 100-day integration plan. You will refine investment theses on prop-tech adjacencies, prepare materials for the Investment Committee, and help portfolio leadership realize synergies post-close. Comfortable building detailed DCF or LBO models, you also translate findings into clear narratives for non-financial stakeholders. You balance an entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative style, driving timelines forward while maintaining diplomacy in negotiations. Key Responsibilities Analyse market trends, competitors and investment opportunities across Germany, France and Belgium Support the development of investment cases and market assessments Build financial models and support company valuations Prepare presentations, investment memos and decision-making materials Coordinate due diligence activities with internal teams and external partners Identify business opportunities, potential risks and value creation initiatives Support negotiations, transaction processes and deal execution Assist with post-merger integration planning and KPI tracking Work closely with Managing Directors on strategic business initiatives Build relationships with founders, investors, banks and other stakeholders Represent AVIV at industry events and networking opportunities Qualifications Experience & Qualifications – must-haves Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, STEM or a related field. Relevant experience in investment banking, transaction services, private equity, or corporate development. Excellent financial modeling skills (financial statements) and confidence in valuing and structuring investments (LBO, DCF, comps). Entrepreneurial mindset, strong drive paired with diplomatic negotiation skills and the ability to set priorities in a results-oriented private-equity environment. Outstanding communication skills for professional interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives. Exposure to digital marketplaces, SaaS or wider prop-tech ecosystems is highly advantageous. Professional fluency in English; German or French strongly preferred. CFA charterholder (or comparable professional qualification) is a plus.
