QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience in advertising, branding, or marketing, with at least 4-5 years in a management role.
  • Strong background in digital content development, including oversight of emails, homepage banners, and branded campaigns.
  • Experience leading retail creative for major partnerships, preferably in beauty, skincare, or a related industry.
  • Deep understanding of packaging design, including bottle shape ideation, structural packaging, and production execution.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage external agencies.
  • Experience working with packaging engineers, production artists, and in-store retail marketing teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Rodan + Fields is seeking an Associate Creative Director, Design to lead Quarterly Campaigns, DTC and retail creative, and packaging design across key brand initiatives. This role will oversee monthly content development produced by an external agency, ensuring strategic alignment and creative excellence. Additionally, this ACD will lead creative for our Ulta retail partnership, including education videos, event materials, in-store signage, gondola updates, and more, as well as a range of DTC initiatives, including emails, landing pages, site content, and promotional campaigns.
The ACD will also drive packaging design for new product launches, working from early concept through final execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on creative with expertise in brand storytelling, digital content, retail creative, and packaging innovation.
