We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Credit Advisory Underwriting I to join our Wealth Management team. This role is located in New York, NY. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Provides support for commercial real estate credit underwriting and conducts basic credit analysis. Works with clients and internal stakeholders to collect due diligence and financial reporting; ensures that all documents collected are complete and accurate. Assists senior lenders with portfolio management activities, including periodic loan reviews, internal risk ratings, loan compliance, market research, etc. Enters data into multiple BNY systems while maintaining data accuracy. Creates reports for the management summarizing portfolio performance and trends. Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal counterparts, clients, and 3rd party vendors. Encouraged to stay updated on industry regulations, market conditions, and commercial real estate trends. Follows proper compliance measures to ensure proper storage and handling of data. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 0-3years of total work experience preferred. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $91,800 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
