BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree. Advanced degree in business, math, economics, or finance strongly preferred At least 1 year of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry focusing on Risk Management
Superior computer skills in Excel, Word and related applications. Access, VBA, Python and SQL
Understanding of equity markets, commodities pricing, and fixed income
Ability to assume responsibility, work with others and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Highly organized and able to prioritize projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in demanding situations
Works well with a team but also stays motivated when working independently

RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:

Evaluate business needs and user requirements within/across team
Review and streamline workflow processes and propose solutions/specifications that meet business needs
Translate business requirement into product designs, coding and debugging
Provide regular and effective progress updates to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues
Engage with the business users to resolve problems as they arise
Create metrics for monthly incidents and prepare quarterly incident scorecard
Facilitate in checking the data quality for all new potential vendors for all different asset classes.
