Description Job Summary: An Associate Data Scientist at Gravitate will support the development and implementation of advanced analytics, optimization, forecasting, and AI-driven solutions for Gravitate. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and AI methodologies. The ideal candidate will support data science initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the integration of AI-powered insights into Gravitate’s platform to enhance decision-making in the energy and commodity sectors. Duties/Responsibilities: Develop and implement machine learning models and AI-driven solutions for forecasting, optimization, and decision support. Support data science initiatives, ensuring best practices in model development, testing, and deployment. Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for innovation. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into the Gravitate platform. Optimize data pipelines and processing techniques to improve efficiency and scalability. Research emerging technologies and methodologies to drive innovation in data science and AI applications. Present data-driven findings and strategic recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. Support data-driven projects and ensure alignment with business goals. Required Skills/Abilities: Knowledge (of some of these techniques and ability to learn) machine learning, deep learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling. Understanding of how AI and data science can be leveraged to drive business success. Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies and effectively communicate findings. Education and Experience: BS in Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent. MS preferred. Experience with data science, machine learning, or AI-related tools. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms.
