Associate Dean – Business Management
Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider, offering world class education. Taught programmes, ranging from Foundation Year through to Level 7, delivered in partnership with institutions such as Leeds Trinity University. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have successfully completed their learning journey in the last five years with the current student population is over 3000.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE:

Scholars School System, a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006), is seeking an Associate Dean-Business Management to provide strategic and operational leadership to the school activities and ambitions. This role focuses on enhancing education in business management, driving innovation, and fostering a vibrant academic culture across campuses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership in developing and reviewing the school’s undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes, ensuring alignment with university policies on learning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Foster strong relationships between departments and campuses, ensuring a responsive culture to support the best student experience.
  • Drive innovation in student education by leveraging digital resources and fostering student partnerships.
  • Work with Senior Management and Heads of Department to deliver a high-quality academic experience for students.
  • Serve on School Committees/Boards, reporting on progress and delivering reports as needed.
  • Liaise with partner institutions and represent the University nationally to enhance its external profile.
  • Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring all staff and students feel valued and supported.
  • Line manages the Business Management Team, ensuring staff development and appropriate staffing levels for teaching activities.
